Although it’s still scorching outside, yesterday Christmas came early when we got invited along to the Cadbury Christmas House, a journey into a magical winter wonderland, courtesy of Cadbury for their Christmas press day.
For me the wrapping is just as important as the present inside, and this year inspired by the recent trend for retro Christmas jumpers the Cadbury festive collection comes wrapped in a cosy Christmas knit pattern – I wonder if it comes in a jumper too?
Laid out into separate rooms, starting on Christmas eve with stockings over the fireplace and a giant human advent calendar, we opened the door to the 25th and entered into a chocoholic’s fantasy land of Cadbury’s goodies. Larger than life toy chests and guitar cases spilled out with chocolate treats, including Mousse Snowmen and Freddo Faces, brand new for the 2013 festivities and the perfect stocking filler.
All the family favourites were there too, the ultimate selection box and nothing really says christmas like a tin of Cadbury’s roses (now sitting pretty in the office which is all too tempting).
In true Christmas spirit this year, Cadbury’s will be donating 10% of all profits made from their Little Wishes (my favourites, pure Cadbury chocolate and truffle stars) to the Make A Wish Foundation. There’s even an Little Wishes advent calendar this season to to help spread the goodwill.
The countdown has begun, only 5 months to go until Christmas… when you to can unwrap the joyful spirit of Christmas with Cadbury!
