This Foodie Friday we are talking Brunch! It’s overtaking the roast as the most sacred of all weekend meals and our preferred meal over which to conduct meetings and celebrate birthdays during the week!
Whether hanging out with friends or meeting with clients, The Riding House Café - London’s answer to the New York Café culture has become a favourite haunt for fashion and media folk.
Sat in a street not far from Oxford Circus, it has a contemporary industrial look mixed with vintage steel, solid wood, and superb leather. Located in an area full of media offices and fashion businesses, on week days it gets particularly busy.
I visited on a weekend and of course I opted for my utter favourite and classic – the Eggs Royale accompanied with a freshly squeezed orange juice. Between the smell of the coffee roasting, the eggs sizzling and the quiet jazz playing in the background, you almost forget you’re behind the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus and could quite easily be in a quiet corner in Uptown New York City.
