We caught up with Amy to find out more....
Q. Have you always had a love for fashion and what did fashion mean to you growing up?
From a young age I have always know I wanted to work in the fashion industry. Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen were my hero's growing up, and i feel lucky enough to have seen Kate Moss in the Johnny years first hand-that was definately a huge style influence for me. Now my style is more pared back and minimal but I still love the drama and decadence of designers like McQueen.
**Q. Describe your personal style and what are your favourite 3 things in your wardrobe? **
My style is much more minimal that it used to be. I used to buy pieces that I loved, now I only buy pieces that I know suit me. I love neutrals and navy and work super tailored pieces into a wardrobe of silk shirts, killer heels and my favourite Maje leather biker jacket.
Q. If you could style anyone who would it be and why?
I enjoy the challenge of styling people from all walks of life from celebrities to corporate women who want a capsule wardrobe created for them each season. I'd love to work some up and coming designers into Kate Middleton's wardrobe.
Q. Do you have any views on fashion and sustainability?
I think it's especially important to invest in 'forever' pieces as you get older. A great tote like the Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc will take you from day to night throughout several decades in style.
**Q. Who do you think are the most stylish women in the world and why? **
I spent several years living in the Middle East and I was always astounded by how chic and fashion-savvy the women in the GCC are. I have inherited their love for immaculate grooming but I also admire French women and their ability to nail undone- chic perfectly, Geraldine Saglio of French Vogue is a particular favourite.
Q. f you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I think I need to learn to take a day off, but it's difficult when you love what you do!
