Before the onslaught of London Fashion Week begins we thought we'd take a first look at the top 10 trends we saw on the New York Spring 2014 catwalks. Crisp clean whites was a popular theme- from 50's elegance at Prabal Gurung, layering and perforated leather at Rebecca Taylor to 90's clean lines at Helmut Lang, and sporty elegance at Victoria Beckham we loved this look.
90's influences were everywhere but the looks were modern and desirable. Slouchy pants had a refined look worn with cropped tops and layers or elegant silky shirts.
Decadent iridescent fabrics were seen at designers from Rag and Bone to Kate Spade.
We reckon the white, fluid sheer shirt is set to be the must have wardrobe item for your summer 2014 wardrobe...start searching our pre-loved wardrobes here!

Pencil skirts continue to be a wardrobe staple...
