By Lori on Oct 28 2013

Fashion Me Now is a blog for fashion, travel, inspiration and all things in between. Lucy Williams has killer style and and is always giving her own twist to fashion staples, that gets us repeatedly stalking to see how she wears this season's must haves! A beautifully shot blog with timeless style and natural tone.

Q:What do you do career wise?

A: I'm assistant fashion and beauty editor at Stylus and a fashion, travel and lifestyle blogger.

Q:What made you start blogging?

A: It just started as a bit of a personal moodboard and something to talk about and keep me busy when I was first applying for internships at magazines years ago. I never really thought of it becoming much bigger but I'm so glad it has - its now something I want to be able to do for a long long time. The freedom of being your own editor and posting on what you like, when you like is great.

Q:Where do you love to shop?

A: It's a real mix of high street (Zara, Topshop, H&M) with vintage, Ebay and second-hand designer. If I want to splurge, I tend to go for mid-range French and Scandi labels like Maje, Sandro and Ganni and Acne. I love Net-A-Porter, ASOS, TheOutnet and Shopbop for online fixes too.

Q: Who are your style inspirations?

A: It's normally old movies and TV (I've been rewatching The Virgin Suicides and Dawsons Creek recently so I'm loving geeky 90s and 70s) and travel that inspire be the most. But I admire lots of different people depending on my mood and time of year - Charlotte Rampling and Jane Birkin are two icons I invariably end up pinning regularly!

Q:How has your life changed since your blog has got successful?

A: I'm a lot busier that's for sure! I've had to become much more disciplined and dedicate more time not only to my blog, but everything that comes with it - replying to emails, meeting people and generally keeping on top of everything. It can be hard with a full time job but ultimately its all worth it and I still really enjoy posting and love hearing from readers and people who like what I'm doing.

Q:What is your long term strategy for the blog?

A: I'm planning a bit of a makeover for it with a new layout and web address but other than that, its a work in progress and all about taking opportunities when they come along. I'd love to work with some more favourite brands that I admire in the future, but I think first and foremost its about doing it because you want to.

Q: What are your three favourite pieces in your wardrobe?

A: A pair of vintage Levis cut offs that aside form a biro stain on the back pocket are pretty close to perfect; a vintage red velvet jacket and a backless black playsuit from The Reformation that I love wearing on holiday.

Q:What would be the soundtrack to your life right now?

A: Probably a mixture between Dolly Parton 9 to 5 and Lord Huron It's Time to Run... I wonder how that would sound!

Q: What are your favourite preloved items on

A: I'm kind of loving this leopard print Valentino jacket and this blouse is the kind of thing I'd wear again and again!
