Q:What do you do career wise?
A: I work in the digital marketing field as an SEO and Social Consultant for an agency in Manchester, so as well as being a part-timer in the online world of fashion blogging, I am also a full-time web worker too!
Q:What made you start blogging?
A: I was invited along to my first fashion blogging event with a friend who also blogs. I never knew how popular it was until this and previously I had thought nobody would want to hear what I had to say, but after meeting all the other lovely fashion bloggers I wanted to be part of the gang!
Q:Where do you get your inspiration from for content on your blog?
A: I like to follow the latest fashion trends and then try and incorporate a hint of that into my style. From catching up on gossip magazines to reading fashion features to reading other fashion blogs, I get inspiration for outfits to put together. In terms of actual written content, copywriting is a passion of mine so I just say it as it is!
Q:What have been the best perks since becoming a blogger?
A: My best experience so far from blogging has to be modelling for two of my favourite UK Fashion publications and meeting their amazing teams: Company High Street Edit for Superdry and Look Magazine for my own written LFW feature. In addition, I love all of the amazing blogger events and press day previews I get invited too, which means I can see what is going to be hot on the high-street before anyone else and then share this with my readers :)
Q:Who is your favourite designer and why?
A: I would die if I ever had the opportunity to have a piece by Alexander Wang. I love his casual, cool, down-town designs and the simplicity of his collections.
Q:What is your long term strategy for the blog?
A: In an ideal world, I would love to be able to do my blog as a full-time career, whilst also copywriting for online and print fashion publications: everyone is allowed to dream big right?!
Q:What are your staple pieces in your wardrobe?
A: You can never go wrong with the basics: a trusty pair of good fitting jeans, leather boots, funky trainers and lots of black and white!
Q:What are your favourite items on BuyMyWardrobe.com for a Christmas Party?
A: I love a bit of glitz and glam at a Christmas party, so this combination of sequins with a textured feather shrug and a pair of fabulous LB's is perfect for celebrating festive cheer!
