Situated on Balls Pond Road, tucked away in a bustling corner of East London known as Dalston, is an independent shop bucking the trend of fast fashion. Here Today Here Tomorrow is a shop, a studio and a showroom that aims to educate the public and promote sustainable fashion. The collaborative project of four designers, Katelyn Toth-Fejel, Emma Rigby, Julia Crew and Anna-Maria Hesse, each with a background in sustainable design, is a boutique bursting with unique garments, accessories, gifts and homewares. All of the products that can be found in Here Today Here Tomorrow oppose the rules of the high street by addressing some of the most common issues associated with fast fashion production, be it durability, ethical practices or transparency of production.
Here Today Here Tomorrow’s products promise to be high quality, environmentally friendly and ethically sourced and produced, which we think is a beautiful claim when fast and cheap seems to be the motto of much of the fashion world. The studio space even hosts workshops so you can fully immerse yourself in the creation of an item and can really get to grips with how a garment comes to life.
