We meet lovely Paula from The LDN Diaries...
Why did you start your blog?
I used to work with a lot of bloggers in one of my previous jobs and they completely inspired me to start my own. I loved the idea of having your own little corner of the Internet and being able to write and post whatever you want!
It was a great way when I moved back down to London from Glasgow to be able to document what I got up to and for friends and family to see it.
How did you get interested in fashion and why is it important? Describe your personal style and its influences/inspiration?
I studied Fashion at University, but I have always had such a passion for it. I used to read so many fashion magazines when I was younger and would look for unique or interesting pieces to wear. I wouldn’t say my style was out of the ordinary I just liked to find something not everyone had and still to this day as well. It’s such a great way to express yourself through dressing; I admire anyone that has their own unique take on it. I take a lot of inspiration from other bloggers and things like Pinterest but I mainly look at the looks from the runway and try and interpret it in my own way.
Who would be at your dream dinner party?
Everyone says a celebrity but I’d invite all my friends, that way I know I’d have a good time!
What is your favourite emoji?
It’s got to be the hands over eyes monkey!
What do you do when you aren’t blogging?
I like to try and chill out and get myself away from the computer. Normally a good glass of white wine and catching up on my favourite TV programmes.
Favourite trend for Autumn?
The blanket coat! It’s such a great look and easy to layer it up in the unpredictable weather. I’d wear it with a belt and thigh high boots like Olivia Palermo.
What other blogs do you read?
I read a lot of beauty blogs as I am always looking for beauty reviews to buy products. I much prefer buying beauty products online so it’s good to be able to see the product, see swatches and different opinions of bloggers using them.
What brand should we be shopping that we may not have heard of?
I’m a big fan currently of Shashi jewellery; they have a really lovely range of bracelets and necklaces that go perfectly with most outfits.
What was the last thing you googled?
Probably how to get somewhere, I use Google Maps all the time as I get lost really easily. I’m not sure how I survived without it!
What are your three most favourite items on BuyMyWardrobe?
