BuyMyWardrobe are pleased to announce that we will be taking part in the launch event of The Graceful Goddess, a new found collaboration mastered up by X-Factor Stylist & Britains Next Top Model judge Grace Woodward and Founder of vintage sensation The Gathering Goddess Wilma Mae Basta.
Both women have a penchant for sustainability and fashion. Grace Woodward moved away from the fast turnover of disposable fashion by introducing ‘Graceland’ – a store dedicated to preowned designer fashion & vintage pieces.
Both Wilma & Grace will be pulling their strength and stock together to begin a series of pop-up shops and events to promote sustainability. They will also introduce carefully selected female entrepreneurs who have like-minded businesses to join the collaboration.
Since it has always been our mission to make fashion resale a key part of a more sustainable future for the fashion industry we are thrilled to have been chosen to take part in the first event!
The exciting news is that the pop up will be at 199 Portobello Rd, where BuyMyWardrobe hosted a very successful 3 week pop up in September 2015. We're BACK and we'll be bringing edited rails of exquisite hard to find preloved designer dresses, from the worlds best fashion houses, ranging from Alai and Chanel to Victoria Beckham and Balenciaga.
Special in-store talks are also being planned during the two-week residency, with a focus on vintage fashion, style and sustainability and chaired by industry leaders and style experts. We will be announcing these on our Facebook Page and through our newsletters so make sure you're signed up to get the alerts!
If you have a designer dress you no longer wear - please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can sell it on through our service. If you have to look fabulous for an upcoming event make sure you visit us either at
17 Seymour Place from 5th Nov -15th Nov (closed Sundays) or
199 Portobello Rd from 16th Nov-29th Nov (open every day!)
Hope to see you there.
Love the BuyMyWardrobe Team x
